Produce available for those affected by the Taylor Creek Fire
Dear Neighbors in the Riverbanks, Limpy Ck. and Shan Creek area,
I have set up an honor produce stand outside my farm gates (Daily Blessings Farm) for all those affected by the fire who need to stay close to home but would like some fresh produce. I have filled ice chests and will leave them in place daily from 10am - 8pm. (I will put it away at night because of wildlife.) I'm currently harvesting cucumbers, 5 kinds of summer squash, rainbow swiss chard, 5 kinds of kale, and I should have tomatoes and peppers in the next week.
I have placed a donation jar inside the ice chest but, please take what you need and leave what you can. 100% of your donations will be given to the fire fighting efforts. My priority is to keep my community fed, healthy and safe. I will continue to support the honor stand until I have to evacuate myself. I hope this helps in some small way to keep you close to home.
