I love getting my box of veggies every week. My son is usually munching on a carrot before we even leave the parking lot.

What is a CSA Farm Share?

It’s sharing the harvest with members. . .

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a concept based on mutual reliance between farmers and farm share members. Members directly support the farm by purchasing a share of the harvest in advance; providing income for the farmer at the time it’s needed (planting season). The farm, in turn, provides the subscriber with a weekly box of produce during harvest season.  The farm share member shares the risks and benefits of food production with the subscriber.

Members benefit by receiving a bountiful box of freshly harvested produce. Daily Blessings Farm allocates the best and first harvest of every crop for CSA members as a priority over any other sales outlet. Farm share members also connect with their food source learning about the challenges and rewards that come from organic production, how to improve health with nutrient-rich produce, and by receiving food safety assurances that come with transparent growing strategies. Our farm share program provides flexibility to customize your box each week, skip or hold a delivery if out of town, add extras when needed, utilize recipes included each week and learn on the farm through educational programs.

Farmers benefit by having a secure outlet for sales, an opportunity to build community with members who are directly involved with the farm’s prosperity, and occasionally including members as welcome volunteers on the farm.
